My practice explores genuine and rather naïve personal experiences and emotions though ritual. I am interested in the understanding of memory is not as literal reproduction of the past, but rather as conceptual understanding of history through the filter of emotions creating its own event. While using memories as a backbone of my practice, I am interested in the relationship between process, subject, and object. It becomes a ritual of delivering a ‘self portrait’ in physical form of sculptural and interactive works. Through the use of romanticism in multiplicity and interactivity, my artworks are used as a medium of narration that is encouraged to push experience beyond the gallery.
